I'm a storyteller. Over the last decade I've worked as a park ranger, musician, adjunct university instructor, independent writer/researcher, web author and digital media creator.
Whether through research, music, lecture, film, photography or audio I'm interested in stories that reflect life’s richness and the complexity of the world we inhabit.
I hold a BA from Bennington College in Public Policy and Environmental Science, an MS from SUNY ESF in Natural Resource Policy and Law and am a graduate of the SALT Institute for Documentary Studies. I split my time between Port Alsworth Alaska, and Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula.
